Vendor Guidelines

Date & Time
Dates and times listed below are rain or shine and non-negotiable.
Saturday June 21, 2025 Set-Up. 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Fair Hours 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Registration
Registration for this event must be submitted by May 2, 2025. There is no fee that accompanies this registration.

Display Spaces
Display spaces will be assigned by DCL park staff and will be 10’x10’ in size. All display sites will be outdoors on grass, and easily accessible. Tables, chairs, and tents are not provided and must be supplied by the vendor. DCL Park Staff will attempt to accommodate advance requests for special requirements.

Weather Protection
Tent coverage is not available, and vendors must supply their own protection against rain, sun, and wind. Heavy weights to secure tents are mandatory.

Security
Security in the vendor area is arranged for Friday evening and will be covered by Maryland DNR.

Electricity
Electricity will be very limited and may be available upon request. Availability is not guaranteed. No overnight electric accommodations are offered.

Check-In/Set-Up
Vendors will first check in at the Discovery Center to get their site number, and will then proceed to the double beach parking lot. Please unload immediately and park vehicles where directed before setting up within the specific time ranges listed above.

Vendors may not leave the recreation area during the recreation fair from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Loss & Damage
Participating vendors agree to hold the Western Garrett County State Parks Volunteers, the Garrett County Health Department, and Deep Creek Lake State Park harmless for loss or damage of merchandise due to weather, theft, fire, negligence or any other reason. Vendors are responsible for securing their own insurance.
